This busty babe is Momoko Yamada from some really obscure H-Game.  Boy did those boobies give me trouble.  After switching to the new fabric for plushie skin the boobie pattern didn’t work anymore for some mysterious unknown reason, so after much trial and error I managed to get Miss Yamada’s body together.Momoko is part 1 of 2 plushies for :iconShadowSpike64:Also, does anyone here really use or like twitter?  I made one, but haven’t really gotten a huge response from it.

fenrirflame said: How do you fight the copyright stuff for the characters you "plushify"?Or does all of the money you make go to the companies?

I know there’s a lot of artists, especially plush artists, that struggle with this concept, so I’m glad you asked!

Just for clarity this is my personal opinion and how I do things, so those of you out there may disagree.

The copyrighted characters I make are owned by big companies that are making TONS OF MONEY.  I’m down here making a pitifully small amount in comparison.  Almost no company will care whatsoever if you sell plushies or art of their characters because they’re getting their money elsewhere.  Especially when the company doesn’t offer plushies or prints of their characters themselves because they don’t feel it would be profitable for them.  If they feel that way then they’re not gonna care about some people on the internet hand making fanart.

Now, it would be different if I were mass producing plushies of copyrighted characters, then they’d probably take notice.  Mass production entails huge batches of plushies and at that point you’d be making enough profit and buzz around your product to turn some legal department heads.

One last thing I wanted to mention is making plushies of characters from smaller creators like webcomic artists.  ALWAYS ALWAYS ask permission to make and sell plushies of characters that belong to smaller creators.  The reason being that those artists are probably depending on their own work to put bread on the table and profiting off of their characters would be in really awful.

Well, I’ve said my piece.  If anyone else out there has any comments or opinions on the matter, feel free to discuss! I don’t talk to my followers enough I don’t think!

When I told my boyfriend I was making Kaiden he told me “I bought that guy a drink once to be a bro and then suddenly he wanted to make out with me!  I was like ‘I didn’t mean it like that!’  I was just trying to be a bro…”This is Kaiden Alenko from the Mass Effect series!  I don’t do people in armor often and it’s always a challenge when I do.  I think he turned out really nice though!  Especially his handsome 5 o’ clock shadow.Kaiden is a commission for Sierra Berry on Etsy! Also, I twitter now @PancakePlush

Our Great Leader has graced us with his presence today!  Here we have Kim Jong Un, leader of North Korea!  This is one of the best commissions ever.  I love it when I get asked to do weird stuff.  He also has my favorite face I’ve ever put on a plushie ever.  It really looks just like him!  My little dictator can’t possibly be this kawaii.Kim Jong Un is a commission for Mark Maguire on Etsy! Also, I twitter now @PancakePlush

Got a pretty weird commission for Kendomaru on Furaffinity.  When he told me the concept I couldn’t help but accept.  I never imagined Yoshi to be the cold, stoic type like Jotaro.  Maybe he’s just good at getting in character when cosplaying.
